The situation in Delhi Airport has got worse during the last days. Approximately 400 to 500 trucks are waiting in front of the unloading area which causes delay of up to two days. Inside the airport both the export clearance and handling takes extra time because of backlog and space problems.
The cargo handling area has also been reduced since the Tsunami in Japan as significant volume of relief consignments are send from India to Japan.
