Pls note that we received below information in regards to Implementation of Indian Customs EDI System v1.5:
"Dear All,
Implementation of Indian Customs EDI System v1.5 (ICESv1.5) at JNCH on 5-4-2011-Reg.Customs EDI system will be stopped from 31/3/2011 to 5/4/2011.
This is to inform you that “the land effected people” from J.N.P.T. and neighboring villages area have declared indefinite closure of Port & all other operations related to inwards & delivery of EXIM contrs., from 22nd of march 2011 morning. Also they have organized grand meeting on 21st March 2011 near J.N.P.T. Port area & after the meeting, the grand rally is scheduled. The meeting held with Sr. PI. J.N.P.T. police station on 16th march 2011 has cautioned us that the mob, during procession, can turn violent and may damage parked vehicles in that area while processing in the area.
Request all of you please note above and plan your shipment accordingly."
This will effect our sailing schedule from Mumbai / Nhava Sheva per 4/4 and this will be cancelled and everything is planned to be back to normal for the next schedule 11/4.
