This is to inform that the main stream opposition political alliance called contentious strike in Bangladesh on the following days in demand of national election under caretaker government and several other issues. As such, following will be the scenario in Bangladesh:
July 06 & July 07, 2011: 48 hours contentious strike all over Bangladesh
July 08 & July 09, 2011: Weekend
July 10 & July 11, 2011: 48 hours contentious strike all over Bangladesh
Operation inside the off-dock and inside port will continue live. But transfer of container from off-dock to port will be hampered during the strike days.
During strike days skeleton member of Expolanka will continue to attend queries and provide update on country situation from time to time.
We shall keep everyone updated if any cargo is impacted due to the long strike situation.
We strongly suggest that you keep in close contact to your suppliers in regards to urgent shipments.
